As a Tax Director at Forvis Mazars, you will play a key role in helping successful companies and their owners navigate complex tax landscapes and achieve their goals.

You will work closely with clients to understand their businesses and industries, providing expert tax advice and guidance to help them make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations in a variety of industries
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Managing and coaching professional tax staff
  • Reviewing returns prepared by tax associates and seniors
  • Delegating responsibilities to others and monitoring engagement team efforts
  • Researching complex tax issues and applying findings to projects
  • Selling additional services to clients and developing referral sources

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Forward Vision and experience managing multiple client engagements
  • Excellent client relationship and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • High-level analytical and reasoning skills

Minimum qualifications include:

  • 9 years or more in public accounting or corporate tax department
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA license

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in Taxation or Law degree
  • Partnership tax experience
