We are currently seeking dedicated clinical faculty specializing in General Obstetrics and Gynecology to enhance our team. Department Overview:
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Los Angeles General Medical Center is committed to offering comprehensive health services tailored to women's needs. Our highly trained medical professionals utilize state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technology to ensure optimal care for women across the region. The department plays a crucial role in training residents in both clinical and surgical aspects of benign gynecology, while also providing essential education to medical students during their required clerkship.

Specialized Divisions:
1. **Gynecologic Oncology**: Our division provides an extensive diagnostic and treatment program for both premalignant and malignant conditions affecting the female reproductive system, employing advanced surgical techniques and comprehensive care strategies.
2. **Maternal Fetal Medicine**: This division focuses on consultative care for pregnant women, addressing prenatal diagnosis, obstetrical complications, and maternal health issues, ensuring high-quality care for both mothers and their unborn children.

Reporting Structure:
The selected candidate will report directly to the Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Compensation:
Annual salary range is competitive, reflecting experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • MD, DO, or equivalent degree is required.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology is essential.
  • Strong clinical skills in general OB/GYN are necessary.
  • Eligibility for a California medical license is required.
  • Completion of a residency program is mandatory.

  • Interest in scholarly activities and participation in multidisciplinary initiatives is expected.
