Salary and Benefits

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our team at our Lake St. Louis location. As a key member of our nursing and therapy teams, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their rehabilitation process, providing personalized care and support to help them reach their goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with our nursing and therapy teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients
  2. Assist patients with daily activities, such as obtaining vital signs and helping with personal care
  3. Promptly respond to call lights and address patient needs in a timely and professional manner
  4. Report any issues or progress observed to the healthcare team
  5. Reinforce rehab techniques as assigned by the therapy team to promote patient recovery and progress
  6. Encourage and support patients through the recovery process, providing emotional support and guidance to help them reach their goals
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; hospital experience preferred
  • BLS certification required within the first 90 days of hire
