About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at National Beef in Kansas City. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines.
  • Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery/parts as needed.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Install new equipment/machinery/parts and inspect existing systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to resolve maintenance issues and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a food production facility.
  • Strong mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions.
  • Ability to use common tools, such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Strong work ethic, eye for detail, and commitment to safety.
