Job Summary

Medline Industries is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting inspections and testing of raw materials and finished goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process inspections and testing of finished goods and/or raw materials manufactured by or for Medline Industries.
  • Operate test equipment and perform simple measurement activities per applicable standard operating procedures.
  • Identify defects and initiate nonconforming material reports during in-process and final inspections per pre-established company policy or Accepted Quality Limits (AQL).
  • Communicate effectively with business partners such as quality assurance, warehouse, maintenance, and/or manufacturing groups.
  • Verify and/or approve line startup and equipment applicable requirements per company-established procedures when applicable.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of quality control experience in a regulated industry.
  • Basic math skills including fractional to decimal conversions.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments and at heights.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to prioritize quickly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of quality regulations such as GMP, GDP, ISO, or 21CFR 820.
Preferred Requirements
  • At least 1 year of quality control experience in medical device and/or drug manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
