Job Overview: Commercial Liability Adjuster

The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Liability Adjuster to join our team in Worcester, MA - Glastonbury, CT and/or Richmond, VA. This full-time exempt position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for 2-3 days of remote work per week. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of professional experience in prior bodily injury litigated claims handling and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for handling complex commercial liability claims, working closely with defense counsel and field adjusters to resolve disputes effectively. You will also maintain a keen foresight into claims depth to accurately adjust reserves based on new information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the settlement of litigated cases involving disputes over coverage, liability, and damages issues.
  • Act as a technical resource for inside and field adjusters.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of applicable statutes, regulations, and case law.
