Key Responsibilities
+ Accurately triage, interpret, and input medication orders into the computerized system while adhering to productivity standards.
+ Conduct audits of input versus documentation and implement necessary corrections.
+ Perform drug calculations, including basic mathematical conversions.
+ Address issues related to denials identified through adjudication and follow up on claims.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Medicaid claim regulations and processes.
+ Generate reports and keep management informed of unpaid claims and pending follow-ups.
+ Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients in alignment with company values.
+ Assist with drug preparation and dispensing under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
+ Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Experience in a pharmacy-related role preferred.
+ Basic understanding of pharmaceuticals, medication terminology, and the metric system; proficiency in computer operations.
+ Licenses/Certifications as mandated by state regulations and business needs.
+ Detail-oriented, goal-driven, and a collaborative team player with strong customer service and communication skills.
