Position Information
The Respiratory Therapist in the Respiratory Care Services department is responsible for administering respiratory care within the scope of their practice under a physician's order. This includes oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, advanced airway management, arterial puncture and analysis, ECGs, and mechanical ventilation of adult/geriatric patients. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy, communicating with the physician and healthcare team. The Therapist understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, vision, and values in patient care management.

Requirements
1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy, preferably in emergency/trauma. Associate's degree in respiratory therapy is required. Registered Respiratory Therapist certification is required, as well as NC Respiratory Care Practitioner certification, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications within 30 days of hire.

Work Schedule
7pm-7am. Weekend and call requirements as scheduled.
