We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Lovelace Medical Center. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with registered nurses to deliver high-quality patient care in a safe and supportive environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Document patient information and observations accurately and timely.
- Assist with patient transport, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned.
- Participate in Purposeful Hourly Rounding and Bedside Shift Report to ensure patient needs are met.
- One year of experience in acute or long-term care.
- Completion of approved CNA, PCT, or paramedic (EMT-P) certification, or currently enrolled in nursing school.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
