Job Summary:

This role is responsible for developing and managing the Maintenance Training Program for the North Richland Hills and Dallas Plants. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and preparing training materials, leading instructional classes on various maintenance subjects, and collaborating with external vendors to ensure relevant training content and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the Maintenance Training Program for the North Richland Hills and Dallas Plants
  • Organize and prepare training materials, including manuals, literature, and systems
  • Lead instructional classes on various maintenance subjects, such as mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Collaborate with external vendors to ensure relevant training content and delivery
  • Maintain training aids, keep accurate student records, and schedule classes
  • Assess hands-on training needs for maintenance personnel
  • Cover for a Maintenance Supervisor during emergencies or other tasks assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

Experience: 5 plus years of industrial maintenance experience, with a preference for those with Maintenance Training experience

Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and familiarity with Tyson SAP-Plant Maintenance is a plus

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the plant organization

Certifications: Relevant certifications in training techniques or subjects are a plus

Travel: Occasional travel outside Texas (1-5 trips per year) and regular travel to Dallas (1-2 times per week)

Special Skills: Bilingual candidates preferred. Strong safety and attendance record, effective management abilities, welding and cutting proficiency, and expertise in pump-to-motor alignment
