About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiologist to join our team as an Assistant Professor at the University of Virginia. As a member of our Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals and contribute to the advancement of our field.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a broad range of peripheral vascular interventions, including angioplasty, thrombolysis, atherectomy, stenting, and endoleak therapies.
  • Conduct complex venous recanalizations, filter removal, vein ablations, and sclerotherapy at our freestanding outpatient center.
  • Participate in dialysis access revision and creation, venous access, and pulmonary embolism therapies as part of our UVA PERT team.
  • Perform hepatic interventions, including TIPS, RTO, biliary work, and interventional oncologic work.
  • Contribute to the growth of pediatric interventions, including vascular malformation practice.
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree.
  • Eligibility for Virginia State medical licensure.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology.
  • Eligibility for ABR certification.
  • Commitment to quality patient care, teaching, and scholarly endeavors.
