Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Laland Baptiste LLC in Utica/Rome, NY. As a key member of our Cost Review Unit, you will be responsible for reviewing orders on contract from field estimators for contract compliance, managing all orders on contract within a geographical location, and estimating and negotiating orders on contract with contractors in accordance with the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Review orders on contract from field estimators for contract compliance.
Manage all orders on contract within a geographical location.
Estimate and negotiate orders on contract with contractors in accordance with the contract.
Review dispute letters, analyze contract documents, and make contract interpretation on validity of dispute.
Act as liaison between contractors, field personnel, client, executive staff, and contract management on issues and complex matters.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field, or associates degree with 2 years' of estimating experience or 4 years' experience as an estimator.
OSHA 30.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
Estimating experience in all areas of construction preferred.
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate with all management levels.
Must have exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
