Baugher Ranch Organics is seeking a dedicated full-time Maintenance Technician for the second shift. This role is crucial for performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on all facility machinery to support manufacturing processes under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks
  • Addressees unexpected maintenance challenges
  • Diagnoses and repairs machinery
  • Safely operates and maintains facility equipment
  • Ensures adherence to the food safety management system
  • Occasionally supervises or assists with vendor or contractor work
  • Communicates effectively with machine operators and management
  • Gains familiarity with the operation of all production equipment
  • Documents all maintenance activities in the appropriate systems
  • Provides coverage for machine operators during breaks
  • Completes tasks with attention to detail and a collaborative attitude
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety
  • Performs other assigned duties as needed
Qualifications:

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to follow directions from management or senior maintenance personnel
  • Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems
  • Proficient in using cloud-based CMMS, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
  • Capable of operating various equipment, including forklifts and lifts
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a respectful and cooperative environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
  • Millwright certification is preferred
  • Experience in food manufacturing or boiler operations is a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Must be capable of climbing ladders and navigating tight spaces
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
