TRAQ Certified Arborist

We are seeking a highly skilled TRAQ Certified Arborist to join our team at Tetra Tech Disaster Recovery. As an Arborist, you will play a critical role in supporting our operations throughout the state of California.

• Identify and evaluate hazardous trees damaged by wildfires that impact right of way on county/city-maintained roadways and debris removal on approved private parcels participating in the recovery program.
• Collaborate with Registered Professional Foresters to ensure accurate identification and qualification of potentially hazardous trees.
• Adhere to permitting and specific environmental guidelines, including considerations for Watercourse and Lake Protection Zones (WLPZ), archaeological significance, and biological concerns.
• Work in rugged terrain and inclement weather, and be able to hike for extended periods.
• Work 6 days a week, 10-12 hours a day, as needed.

• 1+ years of Arborist/Arboriculturist experience
• TRAQ Certified Arborist
• Strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail
• Authorized to Work in the United States
