About the Role

The Post Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the team's operations, ensuring they adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, and maintaining a professional and controlled environment. This involves ensuring necessary equipment, facilities, and staff are fully trained and adhere to quality systems and Good Manufacturing Practice. Additionally, this role is responsible for personnel-related matters, including scheduling, daily assignments, and performance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Allocate manpower resources effectively to ensure timely execution of production needs, including labeling and automated labeling.
  • Approve electronic timekeeping and PTO requests for records.
  • Coordinate with department leads and trainers to identify growth opportunities for individual and team performance improvement.
  • Assign team members as needed to accomplish tasks outside of labeling and automated labeling.
  • Collaborate with the technical team on special projects to improve physical or system processes.
  • Communicate directives and initiatives from management to production technicians on assigned shifts.
  • Monitor and improve workflow, including process change development and implementation, and observe inspection and packaging functions using approved operating procedures and batch records.
Requirements

Basic Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience in a leadership position or demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Good working knowledge of all functional areas of the labeling and packaging area.
  • Solid math and effective problem-solving skills with demonstrated sound judgment.
  • Good communication and organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and lead a team.

  • Ability to work with others in a positive and professional manner and develop strong working relationships with co-workers and management.
  • Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed, and perform work independently without being prompted.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality, accuracy, and accountability.
