Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop analog/mixed-signal ASICs in advanced nodes
  • Manage PDK libraries and drive migration of design environments for incremental releases
  • Develop DRC, LVS, PERC, FILL LPE, and shape generation decks/scripts for CMOS PLANAR and FINFET technologies
  • Utilize Cadence SKILL/SKILL++ for layout automation
  • Develop and validate PV tools and flows, including parasitic extraction, EMIR drop, and substrate noise analysis
  • Test, validate, and provide customer support for these tools
  • Develop methods and procedures for quality improvement
  • Automate the generation and validation of decks and tech files
  • Create layout test structures and validate verification rules
  • Troubleshoot errors using physical verification tools like DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction
  • Collaborate to fulfill advanced nodes' specific requests
  • Ensure the operation and support of ASIC designers worldwide within the CAD/IT team
  • Manage quality and ISO26262 requirements for EDA tools, including in-house developments and vendor products
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years of development experience with mixed-signal CAD design flows from front to back
  • A Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
  • Expert knowledge of state-of-the-art design tools from EDA vendors (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor)
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies and tools, including Linux, scripting languages, and Cadence SKILL
  • Strong understanding of custom analog development flow, design tools, and software/hardware environments
  • Proficiency in Cadence SKILL, Calibre SVRF/TVF, Python, and shell scripting
