Occupational Therapist Assistant - Per Diem/PRN

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team on a per diem/prn basis in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and coordinate resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to patients with impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities.
  • Collaborate with other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients, families, and others as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
  • Coordinate technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
  • 2 years of experience for Advanced Clinician.
  • Licensed (and in good standing) as a occupational therapist assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • BLS required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language.
  • Basic skills in math and computer science.
  • Appropriate knowledge of occupational therapy treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population.
  • Effective problem-solving skills for occupational therapy treatment planning and execution.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly developed communications and interpersonal skills, working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.
