Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team in Hartford, Connecticut.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art imaging department. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams, maintaining equipment, and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound exams on patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult populations
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams, including images and reports
Requirements:
  • RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) certification
  • 2+ years of experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently
  • Strong knowledge of ultrasound principles, techniques, and safety protocols
