Dialysis Care Specialist

Responsibilities:
Deliver dialysis care to patients in a hospital setting, utilizing a variety of renal therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting self-management and empowerment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
Experience in intensive care unit (ICU), critical care unit (CCU), emergency room (ER), or medical surgical (Med Surg) settings is preferred.
Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is a plus.
