Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and pulmonary function testing as required by patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and timely documentation of patient information.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory therapy techniques, disease management, and equipment usage.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Illinois.
  • Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Experience: Experience in acute care or hospital settings preferred.
