Overview

Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare, is seeking a compassionate and empathetic Veterinarian to provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets.

Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

As an In-Home Veterinarian, you will have the opportunity to make a greater impact by providing personalized care and building deep connections with pet families.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide in-home euthanasia and hospice care for geriatric and terminally ill pets
  • Guide families in making end-of-life decisions for their pets
  • Build relationships with local veterinary clinics, serving as an extension of their excellent care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
  • At least 1 year of experience as a practicing veterinarian
  • A valid driver's license
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs assisted
  • Comfortable with prolonged periods of driving
