Relief Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled Relief Pharmacist to join our team at Meijer. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities- Filling prescriptions accurately and safely
- Maintaining positive relationships with patients, team members, and leadership
- Leading pharmacy technicians to achieve results and grow the pharmacy business
- Educating and mentoring pharmacy technicians to be effective team members
- Motivating team members to perform at their highest level
- Staying up-to-date on Meijer policies and procedures, as well as state and federal laws
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload
- Providing exceptional customer service and resolving patient needs
- Assuming responsibility for pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge
- Performing and overseeing clinical services, including immunizations
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
- Working knowledge of pharmacy systems and policies
