Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgical First Assist Physician Assistant to enhance our team at Providence Heart & Lung. This full-time role is based in a leading medical facility known for its comprehensive cardiac and pulmonary services. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, with the opportunity for surgical residency graduates with First Assist training to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide surgical assistance in both adult and pediatric cardiothoracic cases.
- Participate in a shared call rotation, with additional compensation available for on-call duties.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience of 2 to 5 years as an APC Cardiothoracic Surgical First Assist.
- Graduates from surgical residency programs with First Assist experience are welcome to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position ranges from $153,972 to $213,341 annually, which may include productivity incentives, call pay, and additional shift bonuses. Signing bonuses and relocation assistance are also available.
