Job Summary

At Intermountain Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Lymphedema Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist for Lymphatic Disorders, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient services, including identifying, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with lymphedema and other related conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' conditions according to physician orders and current standards of practice.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs and goals.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on lymphedema management and prevention.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Utah.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Preferred: Certification in Occupational Therapy through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Work Environment

This position will be based at McKay-Dee Surgical Center in Ogden, Utah, and will require working in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
