About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at CHI St. Gabriel's Health in Little Falls, Minnesota. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during invasive procedures, handling instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and care.
  • Maintain a sterile field, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines to prevent infection and ensure patient safety.
  • Participate in sterile processing and Endoscopy areas, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly cleaned, sterilized, and stored.
  • Collaborate with the OR team to maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to productivity standards and hospital goals.
  • Report any breaks in sterility or technique, speaking up for patient safety and demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safety standards in practice in the OR.
  • Preferred: Certification and one year of experience in the operating room.
