We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lauridsen Group, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily, safe, and efficient operation of all plant equipment, machinery, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct inspections and repairs on plant facilities, including buildings, structures, and equipment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or associate's degree in a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, with a focus on maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including 110-480 volts (3-phase).
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in extreme temperatures.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The working conditions for this role will vary, with a portion of the time spent in an indoor manufacturing environment and the remainder spent outdoors in a variety of seasonal temperatures. You will be exposed to chemicals, caustics, and cleaning components, as well as high noise levels, tile and concrete floors, and moving machinery and equipment.
Please note that this is a physically demanding role that requires sustained effort and the ability to lift, carry, and push/pull heavy objects. You must be able to work independently, set priorities, and determine work assignments and methods.
