Automotive Quality Assurance Engineer

Core Responsibilities:

Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that quality benchmarks are achieved throughout the New Model (NM) development process, while addressing customer specifications and supplier requirements.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee the creation of quality documentation (SWI/TWI, Control Plan, Data Sheets)
  • Administer master part samples, limit samples, and gage concepts
  • Formulate and execute testing timelines, part validation, and process verification
  • Engage with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to address quality issues
  • Conduct internal audits, joint inspections, and supplier enhancement initiatives
  • Assist with warranty processes and ensure prompt implementation of design modifications

Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in quality assurance
  • Technical degree (Associate's or Bachelor's) or equivalent professional experience
  • Proficient technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and communication proficiency
  • Familiarity with PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and Process Design
  • Capacity to perform under pressure, manage various projects, and adjust to evolving requirements
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and adapt to changes
  • Collaborative mindset conducive to a positive work environment
