Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pediatrician to join our team as a full-time partner in a thriving outpatient pediatric practice in a small community setting. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our existing Pediatrician and Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients in an outpatient setting
- Collaborate with our existing Pediatrician and Nurse Practitioner to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in hospital duties, including healthy newborn visits, management of non-critical transient problems, and routine acute illness admissions
- Attend C-sections or vaginal deliveries as requested by OB, if problems are anticipated
- Occasionally resuscitate and stabilize newborns until transfer to a facility with a higher level of care
