About the Role

Pacific Gas And Electric Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Instructor and Training Developer to join our team at Diablo Canyon Power Plant. As a key member of our training team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs in Chemistry and Radiological Protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs for nuclear instructors and personnel
  • Analyze and evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop training materials and content
  • Conduct training sessions and provide feedback to participants
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in nuclear training and education
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of experience in a technical field, preferably in nuclear power plant operations
  • Fully qualified instructor experience at a nuclear power plant for at least 5 years
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Advanced knowledge of nuclear chemistry and radiological protection principles
  • Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
  • Experience with training program development and delivery

Pacific Gas And Electric Company offers a competitive salary range of $122,000 to $207,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
