Job Description

At A Tool Shed Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Yard Crew Member to join our team. As a Yard Crew Member, you will be responsible for assisting customers with the rental of equipment, ensuring that all equipment is in good working condition, and providing exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess customer needs and provide assistance with equipment rental.
  • Inspect and prepare rental equipment for delivery.
  • Ensure all rental equipment is in good working condition.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or delivery environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Work Environment:

  • Most work will be performed outside.
  • May be exposed to general warehouse conditions, including temperature and weather extremes.
  • May have exposure to chemicals and other hazardous materials.

Travel and Work Hours:

  • Travel between store locations may be required.
  • Department hours are Monday through Saturday 7am – 5pm.
  • Work schedule is dependent on seasonal need.
