The ideal candidate will serve as a full-time client-facing Editor for an Intelligence Community (IC) client, reviewing and editing finished intelligence content, collaborating with analysts, graphic designers, cartographers, and fellow editors, and ensuring adherence to tradecraft standards.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough substantive reviews for analytic tradecraft and writing style, copy editing, and proofreading.
  • Ensure accurate classification and control markings on all documents.
  • Maintain office policies and procedures on formatting, graphics, and compliance with legal guidance.
  • Provide constructive feedback to authors.
  • Integrate recent innovations in presentation and format into content.
Requirements
  • TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Writing, Communications, or a related field, or a degree relevant to national security.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an Intelligence Analyst and/or IC Editor, with expertise in IC and DA tradecraft standards.
  • Excellent editing support skills and knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently or collaboratively in an office environment.
