Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Speech and Language Therapist to join our Rehabilitation Department. This part-time role involves providing specialized care to patients in need of speech-language therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Sign-on Bonus: $2,500.00
  • Work Schedule: Part Time, 30 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Assess and provide treatment for patients requiring speech-language therapy.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions using established techniques tailored to patient needs.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and progress.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to performance improvement protocols.
  • Assist in planning and facilitating patient discharge from therapy services, providing information on support programs.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Current BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer required. Acceptable certifications include those from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist credential from the Wisconsin Hearing and Speech Examining Board required prior to hire or transfer.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
