Job Summary

We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in a hospice setting. As a member of our care team, you'll work closely with our clinical staff to deliver personalized care to patients in their homes, facilities, or hospitals. Your primary responsibility will be to provide social interaction, reassurance, and support to patients and their families, while also assisting with daily living activities and reporting changes in patient condition to our attending nurses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide social interaction and reassurance to patients and their families
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, bathroom needs, and physical activity
  • Report changes in patient condition or environment to attending nurses
  • Support patient teaching and other procedures based on patient plans of care
  • Prepare and submit documentation of observations, findings, and services provided
  • Administer emergency first aid when needed

Requirements
  • Valid CNA certification required
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and transportation in order to travel to patient locations
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to complete patient charting on a daily basis
