Key Responsibilities

  • Provide analytic and diagnostic services to support student success.
  • Process new students to ensure their learning needs are met.
  • Support student success through semester-long services.
  • Evaluate and recommend tutoring materials to enhance student learning.
  • Track student performance via session logs and present data to inform program improvements.
Qualifications
  • Same credential as required to teach in the subject area.
  • 3 years of current professional clinical work experience in the nursing field.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Well-organized, task-oriented, and flexible.
  • Good interpersonal skills to perform successfully in a large multicultural environment.
  • Able to teach day or evening hour classes at multiple sites.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity to students with diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students in a learning-centered environment.
  • Self-disciplined and able to effectively follow department protocols.
