Zachry Group is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear power construction and quality assurance, with experience in implementing and monitoring quality assurance programs and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the Zachry Nuclear Inc. (ZNI) NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential safety and quality issues.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with the implementation of the ZNI quality assurance programs and processes in compliance with nuclear industry regulations and standards.
* Collaborate with engineering, project management, operations, and procurement teams to identify, prioritize, and address potential safety and quality concerns.
* Conduct planned, scheduled internal and external audits and assessments of corporate nuclear facilities, projects, processes, and equipment to ensure adherence to ZNI, regulatory and client quality and safety standards.
* Review and analyze data from Nonconformances, Corrective Action Reports, and other sources to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
* Support the ZNI Nuclear Program team in developing and maintaining quality assurance documentation, including procedures, guidelines, and reports.
* Support the Nuclear Program Training Manager in development and implementation of the ZNI Nuclear Training Program.
* Participate in the development and implementation of corrective action plans to support projects and address identified safety and quality issues.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and standards, ensuring that the company's quality assurance processes remain current and effective.
* Support the preparation and submission of regulatory and certification applications, and other required documentation.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred in Engineering, Quality Management, Nuclear Technology or Applied Science or equivalent experience.
* High School Diploma required.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Nuclear Power Construction / Fabrication Quality Assurance / Quality Control.
* Certified NQA-1 Lead Auditor with minimum 1 year experience as a Lead Auditor.
* Extensive knowledge of ASME Section III, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NQA-1, Commercial Grade Quality and Supplier Quality for Nuclear project fabrication and construction.
* Strong knowledge of Nuclear Indoctrination and Quality Assurance training requirements.
* Proven track record of developing and implementing effective quality assurance programs in a nuclear environment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and regulatory agencies.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, relevant software tools and applications, such as quality management systems, data analysis tools, and regulatory compliance software.
