Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Measurement Technician to join our team at WaterBridge Operating LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing measurement and instrumentation equipment to ensure accurate and reliable data collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain electronic flow computers, temperature transmitters, radios, solar equipment, and pressure transmitters.
  • Meter Verification and Calibration: Maintain a routine meter verification and calibration schedule to ensure measurement accuracy meets company policy.
  • Equipment Troubleshooting: Detect measurement errors, provide documentation to production accounting to correct volumes as needed, and provide supporting documentation for corrections.
  • Pre-Commissioning Activities: Perform pre-commissioning activities, including system checkout, instrumentation calibration, loop checks, and communication testing.
  • Cellular Modem and Radio Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain cellular modems, serial radios, gateways, and Ethernet radios.
  • Analysis and Troubleshooting: Use various tools and software to perform analysis and determine why equipment is not communicating properly.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Coordinate and perform maintenance duties required to maintain operations and regulatory compliance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain effective communications, provide ideas, raise concerns, and work with other functions, including facility operations and supervision, engineering, supply chain, other I&E employees, clerical staff, and contractors.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and timely data entry and recording within computer-based preventative and predictive maintenance programs, drawings, procedures, and schematics.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED, 3 years of measurement experience, or 2 years of measurement experience with a college or technical trade school degree, training on applicable measurement equipment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Working knowledge of midstream operations, general knowledge of liquid measurement and meters, 4-20ma signals, Modbus, and other communication mediums, experience in the use of computers, and basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to demonstrate advanced organizational skills, work independently, be self-motivated, and relate to other people and maintain good relationships with coworkers and peers.
Working Conditions

This position operates in a field environment, requiring occasional standing, walking, or sitting, use of hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and must be able to carry a self-contained breathing apparatus if needed.
