About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team at RHA Health Services. As a Custodian, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and service bathrooms, rooms, and offices in the facility
  • Floors (including buffing, waxing, and stripping as necessary)
  • Mop bathrooms and spot mop floors when needed
  • Sweep porches, vacuum, and clean soiled spots on carpets
  • Dust and clean furniture, equipment, light fixtures, and vents in the facility
  • Clean windows and sills, empty trash baskets, and arrange rooms in proper order
  • Scour and polish bathtubs, sinks, mirrors, and similar equipment
  • Keep utility storage rooms clean and safe of fire hazards
  • Use housekeeping supplies and utility carts safely and store in proper place
  • Polish windows, wooden doors, and glass in doors and partitions
  • Participate in the Quality Assurance Assessment system
  • Wash, dry, and fold residents' clothes and linens when requested
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in Health Department Regulations
  • Valid driver's license and personal auto liability insurance
