Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee and direct our quality assurance initiatives in support of our government contracts. This role involves managing a dedicated team that delivers a variety of operational support services, including facility management, maintenance, logistics, and project oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contract manager responsible for the execution and management of quality assurance protocols and serve as the main point of contact for quality-related inquiries.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and communicate these expectations to the team.
- Establish and nurture effective relationships with clients to foster a mutually beneficial partnership.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery processes to ensure timely and cost-effective provision of high-quality goods and services.
- Develop, refine, and evaluate performance specifications and procedures, providing training to staff on their application.
- Set and monitor compliance with logistics requirements from subcontractors and vendors.
- Supervise quality inspectors and technicians, offering guidance on quality assurance matters.
- Ensure adherence to legal obligations and compliance with regulatory standards and health and safety protocols.
- Monitor service delivery processes to detect any deviations from quality standards and recommend corrective actions to meet or exceed expectations.
- Conduct final inspections of products and services, approving or rejecting outputs based on established criteria.
- Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analyses to enhance contract performance.
- Proactively seek client feedback, participate in meetings, and assist auditors and inspectors as needed.
Qualifications:
- Possession of a current Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Certification in quality control management, such as Certified Manager of Quality Control/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control management, with at least 2 years in facility operations and maintenance.
- Proven expertise in Process Control, Quality Data Analysis, and Statistical Sampling.
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Familiarity with ARCHIBUS Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) is preferred.
- Ability to lead effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment, managing short-notice tasks under pressure.
- Experience in personnel management, including oversight of both direct and subcontracted staff.
- Experience working with labor unions and managing service employees under the Service Contract Act.
- Comprehensive technical knowledge of facilities maintenance and operations, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and data center operations.
- A bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
