Position Title: SIC Pipefitter Helper

Position Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated Pipefitter Helper to assist in various projects. This role involves supporting skilled pipefitters in the installation and maintenance of piping systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize and maintain tools effectively.
• Assist in the replacement of gaskets.
• Prepare workspaces and gather necessary equipment.
• Work under the guidance of a Pipefitter to cut, measure, thread, and install pipes.
• Install brackets and secure hangers for piping.
• Support the installation of pipes, valves, instruments, and fittings.
• Perform cutting of openings in walls and ceilings for pipe installation.
• Help with the demolition and rerouting of existing piping systems.
• Assist in the transportation and handling of materials.
• Lift and carry various objects as required.
• Maintain regular attendance and adhere to project schedules.
• Be prepared for potential travel as needed.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Complete all required safety and job training.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards set by the company and clients.

Physical and Job Site Requirements:

• Ability to use personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
• Work in various environments including offices, warehouses, and outdoor sites, with exposure to different weather conditions.
• Access all areas of job sites, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
• Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and working in awkward positions.
