Assist in preparing and expanding to meet specifications: die punching, slotting, and packing orders for shipment. Operate equipment such as saws, presses, and ovens or assist with manual functions to prepare orders for packing and shipment.
- Assemble material according to job requirements
- Die punch when necessary
- Drill core when necessary
- Glue core when necessary
- Expand core when necessary
- Slot core when necessary
- Prepare material to meet work order specifications
- Cut materials to specified sizes
- Stage material for machine operator
- Assist machine operator as needed
- Trim and clean material
- Measure end product for accuracy
- Assist with packing orders
- Prepare container for shipping
- Fill out related paperwork
- Provide customer value through efficiency, productivity, and care
- Participate in improving products, processes, equipment, and methods
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
