Job Description:
As an ICU RN with Trustaff, you'll have the opportunity to provide hands-on care for critically ill patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, plan, and implement care strategies for patients who require round-the-clock attention. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and contribute to the facility's goal of providing quality care to its patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing services, including but not limited to, nursing interventions and their documentation, case finding, health teaching/counseling, and provision of supportive and/or restorative care.
- Participate in staff training, prepare clinical and administrative reports, maintain infection control standards, and function as a member of a treatment team.
- Supervise subordinate professional, paraprofessional, and support staff in the performance of their patient/resident care duties and be responsible for maintaining inventory standards for medicine, controlled drugs, and narcotics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in the ICU setting.
- An active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states.
- Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit.
- An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help.
- Covid-19 Vaccine Required.
