We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to serve as the 4-H and Youth Development Program Manager in Stephens County. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs for youth in 4-H clubs, schools, and community settings.
- Recruit, train, and manage volunteer leaders to conduct specialty 4-H clubs, competitive teams, events, and activities.
- Collaborate with other agencies and community groups to plan and implement programs that meet the needs of the community.
- Conduct promotional efforts to expand the public's view of extension programming and promote out-of-county activities.
- Develop and conduct relevant interdisciplinary programs with other staff members based on critical issues.
- A Master's degree in Human/Youth Development, Sociology, Education, Agriculture, Family & Consumer Sciences, Recreation, or related area.
- Ability to organize and carry out activities and manage educational programming for youth.
- Demonstrated communication ability, leadership and management skills, and ability to work as a team member.
- Computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
