Aquatic Facility Coordinator

GVRD is seeking an experienced Aquatic Facility Coordinator to manage the day-to-day operations of our aquatic facilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong focus on safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Pool Safety: Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons by monitoring the pool area and responding to emergencies.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to lifeguards, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Facility Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the pool area, including chemical checks and equipment upkeep.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers, First Aid, and Administering Emergency Oxygen.
  • Skills: Leadership, customer service, and basic swimming ability.
Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $18,500 - $19,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
