About the Role

The Portland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our nursing services department, you will provide administrative and support services to our registered nurses and providers while ensuring exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Room patients, complete vital signs, and standard rooming as described in our TPC rooming workflow, excluding medication review.
  • Perform task-based office work, including faxing, completing FMLA paperwork, answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling records.
  • Discharge patients after necessary teaching has been completed by our RN or LIP team.
  • Print AVS, clean and stock exam rooms, collect urine specimens/covid specimens as directed, and perform bladder scans and EKGs as delegated.
  • Establish and maintain a sterile field after training and competency verification.
  • Sort and prioritize Epic In-basket tasks.
  • Perform duties delegated by RNs, not exceeding those allowed by the OSBN.
  • Maintain regular work attendance and punctuality, and comply with HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
Requirements
  • Current CNA certification in the state of Oregon.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

  • Ability to accept responsibility and use initiative to proceed with necessary tasks without direct supervision.
