Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced President and Chief Philanthropy Officer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading the philanthropic efforts across UNC Health, providing strategic vision, policy development, and leadership to ensure high-performing philanthropic programs throughout the entire system.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for a consistent fundraising strategy across entities and system
- Promote philanthropic investment to fulfill and advance the mission of UNC Health and the UNC School of Medicine
- Provide strategic vision, policy development, and leadership to ensure high-performing philanthropic programs throughout the entire system
- Lead Board of Directors to ensure strong governance and establish clear lines of communication and organizational transparency

Key Performance Indicators
- Increase philanthropic investment to support the mission of UNC Health and the UNC School of Medicine
- Develop and execute strategies for a consistent fundraising strategy across entities and system
- Enhance the capacity of the Foundation to promote philanthropic investment and support the mission of UNC Health and the UNC School of Medicine

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Expertise in cultivating major donors, corporations, and foundations, building strong and trusting relationships
- Deep understanding of healthcare philanthropy, donor cultivation & stewardship, and best practices in grant writing
- Ability to analyze data, identify funding opportunities, and align philanthropy with institution's goals
- Strong communication skills to articulate the healthcare system's mission and vision, and advocate for its impact on the community
