Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Application Developer to join our team at MyCareersFuture. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust cloud-based applications that meet the needs of our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration and Design
    • Work closely with technical leads and architects to create comprehensive application designs that meet business requirements.
    • Develop and maintain detailed design documentation to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Development and Maintenance
    • Write high-quality code that adheres to established design principles and best practices.
    • Implement static and dynamic code analysis to ensure code quality and security.
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Proactively expand knowledge of related architectural components, including databases and message brokers.
    • Contribute to deployment processes, including Dockerization and the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work effectively in a diverse, multi-cultural team environment to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering with 4+ years of experience in cloud application development.
  • Technical Skills
    • Hands-on programming knowledge in one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, Golang, Java).
    • Strong understanding of design principles (e.g. S.O.L.I.D) and unit testing.
    • REST API best practices and design guidelines.
    • Strong skill set in one or more REST API frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot, FAST API, Flask).
    • Desirable to have GraphQL experience supporting frontend applications.
    • Hands-on experience in one or more relational database systems (preferably PostgreSQL).
    • Ability to independently design schema and write plain SQL.
    • Working knowledge of event-driven architecture and experience in one or more message brokers (preferably Kafka).
    • Working knowledge of containerized applications.
    • Integration with other teams' system interfaces.
    • Working knowledge of public cloud services (preferably AWS).
