About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Precision Machining Specialist to join our team at Chamberlain Machine. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC Lathes or Mills, identifying and executing improvement opportunities in programming, manufacturing methods, tooling, and fixturing.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other specialists to facilitate production processes and ensure that documentation is in accordance with QMS procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC Lathes or Mills to produce high-quality precision parts.
  • Identify and execute improvement opportunities in programming, manufacturing methods, tooling, and fixturing.
  • Work closely with other specialists to facilitate production processes and ensure smooth operation of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with QMS procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment turning/milling, including machine set-up, tool setting, work holding, and machine operation.
  • Extensive familiarity with FANUC controls and MasterCam software.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling selection and inspection of high-value precision parts.
  • Ability to establish machining feeds/speeds/depth of cuts required to maximize production.
  • Good math skills and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints, 3D models.
  • Able to walk, stand, climb, lift up to 50 pounds, see, hear, and use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • US citizen or legally authorized foreign worker.

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
