Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist
Job Summary:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various types of equipment
- Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate records of patient exams and results
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- ARDMS certification in specialty areas
- Minimum 3 years of experience in ultrasound technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
