Job Opportunity in Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies

Virginia Commonwealth University is seeking a pool of qualified adjunct faculty to teach courses within the Department of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate course objectives and meet designated instruction guidelines.
  • Grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based on instructions and rubric provided.
  • Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Submit final grades according to College/Department policy.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Prior teaching experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment or a commitment to do so.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience teaching courses within the Department of Gender, Sexuality and Women's Studies curriculum.
