Role Details:
Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with working hours from 8:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate the needs and capabilities of students, crafting tailored lesson plans for a self-contained classroom setting.
2. Assess developmental milestones and create individualized educational plans (IEPs) utilizing behavioral strategies grounded in applied behavioral analysis and/or TEACCH methodologies.
3. Develop appropriate IEP goals and objectives that emphasize strengths, areas for growth, and preferred motivational strategies.
4. Design daily schedules and lesson plans that align with state educational standards, informed by authentic assessment data, to promote school readiness and fulfill IEP objectives.
5. Prepare progress reports and update IEPs as necessary, actively participating in review meetings.
